Renewal FAQ's
I was a member in 2010, when can I expect to receive my renewal information?
All 2011 membership renewals were posted to members in October 2010. If you have not yet received your renewal information and would like to renew your membership for 2011, please contact the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566.
Beyond the Border members will receive their renewal information approximately two weeks after the AFL releases the 2011 fixtures.
How long do I have to renew my membership?
|
|
The cut-off date for Season members to renew for 2011 and retain their existing seats was Thursday, November 11, 2010. |
|
|
In The Wings members will have until February 4, 2011 to renew in order to retain their wait list number. |
|
|
Beyond the Border members may renew at any time until June 30, 2011 in order to be eligible for finals access. Please allow for 4-6 weeks from the time of renewing for the delivery of your membership card and pack. |
|
|
Eagles Nest, Eagles Rising Stars, Rookie Eagles and Baby Eagles members can renew their memberships at any time during the 2011 season. |
What is my membership reference number?
Your membership reference number can be found on the top right-hand corner of your renewal invoice. This is a unique 10-digit number allocated to you each season (ie, the reference number on last season's invoice won't work).
This number is allocated to every member that appears on your renewal invoice, so if you don't want to renew all these individuals in one transaction, please contact the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566 to complete separate transactions.
What do I need to renew my membership online?
You will need your membership reference number and a credit card to renew your membership as it appears on your invoice. Click here and follow the instructions. Please note that if you need to make any changes to your membership (seat moves, transfers, concession updates, etc), you will need to contact the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566 to complete your renewal.
How do I change my details in my membership account?
If renewing online, you will be prompted to update the details of the primary account holder following the completion of the transaction.
If you’re not renewing online, or you would like to update the details of other members in your household, simply submit the form on our website, email the Membership Services Centre or make the alterations where prompted on your renewal form and post it to West Coast Eagles Membership, PO Box 1305, Subiaco WA 6904.
I’m a Season member, why is my invoice addressed to someone other than me?
As most of our Season members attend the football as a family or group, we invoice you as a household and not as an individual. Our system automatically nominates a 'primary' account holder of the household to address the renewal invoice to. If this is not correct, please let us know and we will happily make the adjustment for you.
I have Eagles Dollars from re-selling my seats this season. How do I use them to pay for my renewal?
If you have valid West Coast Eagles Dollars obtained through the 2010 seat resale program that you would like to put towards your membership renewal, please mail the original vouchers along with your renewal invoice and any remaining payment to the Membership Services Centre, PO Box 1305 Subiaco WA 6904. Unfortunately, those wishing to put their Eagles Dollars towards their renewal will not be able to perform the transaction online.
I can’t pay for my Season membership all at once. What are my options?
At the West Coast Eagles, we understand that it may not always be possible to pay your membership renewal in one bulk instalment. We have therefore introduced the availability of an online part-payment option for those who would like to pay in two equal instalments. Click here to utilise that option online, or alternatively complete the form on the back of your renewal invoice and return it to the Membership Services Centre, PO Box 1305 Subiaco WA 6904.
If you would like to discuss an alternative way to make payment for your 2011 membership, please contact the Membership Services Centre before Thursday, November 11, 2010 on (08) 9388 4566.
I paid for an adult Season membership in 2010 but I’ve recently gone onto a pension. How do I change my details so that I only pay the concession rate in 2011?
Concession membership is available to full-time students (15 and over), aged pensioners, invalid pensioners, war widows/war veterans and single supporting parents as stipulated by the AFL.
Unfortunately, senior card holders do not qualify for concession membership.
If you are an adult changing to concession for the 2011 season, please attach a photocopy of your concession card to your renewal invoice and return the entire form, along with payment for the concession rate of your membership, to the Membership Services Centre, PO Box 1305 Subiaco WA 6904. Click here for a full list of concession prices.
Please note that if you are changing to concession you will not be able to renew their membership via the online or automated phone options. Please contact the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566 for further information.
I’m a Season member and I need to change seats due to a medical condition.
Unfortunately, the lack of seat availability with the current capacity stadium inhibits our ability to assist members who require a change of seats.
However, we will always aim to accommodate members who need to move seats due to ill health or physical limitations, and these types of requests will take first priority when we are assessing all seat move applications.
If you believe it is essential to move from your current location due to ill health or physical limitations, please send your request in along with accompanying documentation (such as a letter from your doctor) to the Membership Services Centre, PO Box 1305 Subiaco WA 6904 or membership@wce.com.au. You will still be required to renew your current seats before the closing date to ensure you have secured seated membership for 2011. Please note that seat moves are not guaranteed, but if we are able to grant your request, a staff member will contact you by telephone to finalise your move by the end of February 2011.
This is my first year off the waitlist, and my family and I were allocated seats on our own. How can we be moved together for 2011?
A significant number of the seats relinquished by non-renewing members from year to year are single seats on their own around the ground. As such, most members upgraded from In The Wings will be seated apart in their first year of Season membership. We understand that this is not an ideal situation, and it is a priority for us to put members together where we can.
Once we have assisted all medical seat move requests where possible, the next stage in our seat move process is to assess all single seat move requests.
If you are sitting on your own and would like to moved together with your friends and family, please send your request in writing to the Membership Services Centre, PO Box 1305 Subiaco WA 6904 or membership@wce.com.au. You will still be required to renew your current seats before the closing date to ensure you have secured seated membership for 2011. Please note that seat moves are not guaranteed, but if we are able to grant your request, a staff member will contact you by telephone to finalise your move by the end of February 2011.
I’m not happy with the location of my current seats and I’d like an upgrade.
Our ability to assist members wishing to upgrade their seats is dependant on the number and location of the seats made available by non-renewing members. Our first priority is to assist members requiring a change of seats for essential reasons (poor health, sitting apart from friends and family). If seats are still available after we have accommodated all these requests, we will attempt to help other members where possible.
Please be aware that we have not been able to perform non-essential seat upgrades for at least four seasons now.
If you would like to apply for an upgrade, please submit your request in writing to membership@wce.com.au. You will still be required to renew your current seats before the closing date to ensure you have secured seated membership for 2011.
Can I transfer my Season membership to a friend?
Due to our large wait list, membership transfers are only permitted between immediate family members. If you wish to transfer your seat to an immediate family member, please return your renewal invoice and payment information to the Membership Services Centre, PO Box 1305 Subiaco WA 6904, accompanied by a signed letter of permission from the current seat owner and supporting documentation to prove the immediate family relationship (such as a birth certificate). If you are looking to transfer a seat that is currently attached to an unsecured note, please contact the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566 to obtain the appropriate documentation.
I’m a Noteholder and I would like to transfer my unsecured notes to another party.
Please contact the Membership Services Centre on (08) 9388 4566 to obtain the appropriate documentation and find out more about unsecured notes.
I’m a Season member and I’ve recently changed my surname.
If you require us to change your name on your membership card for the coming season, please submit your renewal invoice by the cut-off date with accompanying proof of identification. Please mail all documents to West Coast Eagles Membership, PO Box 1305, Subiaco WA, 6904.
