After missing the 2008 season because of a knee reconstruction, the young tall from Ballarat bounced back strongly last year, playing 19 games and showing versatility at both ends of the ground. Earned a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination following the upset win over the Western Bulldogs in round 19 and, with Brent Staker’s departure, could shape as a long-term option in the forward line.
