The good news of Kerr’s long-term commitment to the Eagles was tempered by another injury-interrupted season in 2009, with the dynamic midfielder managing only 11 games for the second straight year. Appeared under duress from intense opposition scrutiny and an abdominal/groin problem, and will be hoping to benefit from the emergence of several young on-ball stars at the club. Had an outstanding preparation for the season which holds him in good stead.
Draft history: 2000 National AFL Draft 2nd round selection (West Coast) No. 18 overall traded by St Kilda for Fraser Gehrig.
