Since the departure of many premiership stars, Worsfold has assembled a group of talented youngsters, but many are still learning the craft and he has rarely had the best 22 on the field in the past two seasons.
Whether the 2011 outfit can match the deeds of its predecessor is yet to be seen, but you can guarantee Worsfold will give his chargers every chance.
During 2009, the club showed its faith by extending Worsfold's contract for a further two years, meaning he will join Mick Malthouse as its longest serving coach if he sees out the term.
Worsfold has turned to the draft and youth to revitalise West Coast, having lost several senior players since 2007, and seemingly has the resources, support staff and coaching philosophy to return the club to a position of power.
