Eagles Faction Footy

Eagles Eagles Faction Footy is an intra-school program which offers students of all ages the opportunity to learn the skills of footy in a safe, fun environment with friends from their own school faction. The growth of this competition has been phenomenal with schools adapting Eagles Faction Footy to suit their own needs.

Eagles Faction Footy is now in its eighth year and has seen dramatic growth since it started in 2005. Last year, 9,500 primary school students competed in the Faction Footy competition. This year, the figure has grown to an astounding 15,000 with students from 173 different schools across Perth getting out of the class room to stretch their legs on the football field.

BHP Billiton has once again been one of the major driving forces behind the success of the program which not only aims to increase football participation at a grass roots level, but also promote healthy lifestyles through sport.
