Following on from Today Tonight’s special on the club’s recent trip to Cambodia, Channel Seven will this weekend air a 30-minute documentary, exploring the players’ journey in greater depth.

Tune into Seven’s Building Dreams: The West Coast Eagles in Cambodia this Saturday, February 12 at 5pm and watch as a group of 12 young men start picking up the pieces for the people of one of the poorest nations in the world.

Together with senior coach John Worsfold, the group took part in a five-day camp as part of the club’s player development and leadership program. Their mission was to build 20 houses for the struggling families of the remote Kampong Speu Province.

West Coast chaplain Paul Morrison accompanied the boys to Cambodia and has been inspired to write a song about the incredible experience, involving four players in the recording process, namely Nic Naitanui, Brad Sheppard, Koby Stevens and Gerrick Weedon. Click here to read more about the track in the song booklet.

Currently for sale on iTunes and at the West Coast Eagles Team Store, we encourage all our members and supporters to help support the people of Cambodia by purchasing the single.

All proceeds will be donated to the Tabitha Foundation Australia.
