The West Coast Eagles will hit the road to Northam next week the club’s annual AFL Community Camp.

The two-day trip will see the entire squad and coaching staff visit schools and communities in the Northam region, giving talks, signing autographs and running coaching clinics.

The club will also host a dinner at the newly renovated Northam Community Centre, where locals will have the chance to meet their favourite West Coast stars.

Reappointed skipper Darren Glass, originally from Northam, says Community Camp is a great way to interact with West Coast’s regional members and fans.

“Western Australia is obviously a very large place, and we have supporters who live several hours away from Perth,” the all-Australian captain said.

“Once the season starts its very hard to get away, this gives us chance to meet some of those fans and thank them for their ongoing support.”
