West Coast Eagles ruckman Dean Cox has had a minor setback and will be excused from this week’s block of skill sessions.
The All-Australian big man dislocated a finger at training last Friday and will not participate in the key sessions, but there will be no lingering issues.
He will join the rehab group for the remainder of this week, which will be a little lighter because the club will travel to Northam for the annual community camp.
Cox and Nic Naitanui have formed the most potent ruck force in recent history and that outstanding combination will again be a major factor in the Eagles’ quest for success in 2013.
