Kick-start your weekend with an evening of fun, food and fashion at Government House Ballroom on Friday, July 19.

At "Divine Dreaming", guests will be treated to fashion parades by local Perth designers Petra Vanessie, Leo and Spargo, Little Gracie and Blair Nelson, featuring models from the David Wirrpanda Foundation, including Troy Cook, Dale Kickett, David Hynes, Marlon Motlop, Jarrad Oakley Nicholls, East Perth players Arthur Bennell, Shaquille McKenzie, Chris Warrell and Australian Hockey player Nathan McGuire.

The female models will include finalists from the 2013 Miss NAIDOC Perth competition and local professional models.

Hosted by Adrian Barich and accompanied by model Shannon McGuire and West Coast Fever star, Josie Janz, there will be live music by local artists The Merindas, Elk Bell and Heavenly Strings, as well as a silent auction and goodie bags packed with gifts and giveaways.

Those hungry for an after-work snack can feast on delicious canapés by Red Hot Spatula, Jean Pierre Sancho, Maison St Honore and Littlesweet Baking, with beverages by Ironbark Brewery and West Cape Howe.

Founder of the David Wirrpanda Foundation and former West Coast Eagle footballer David Wirrpanda said proceeds from the event would help the foundation make a real difference to Aboriginal people in Western Australia.

“The money raised will be put to good use, helping us engage, inspire and empower young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people by giving them the opportunity and support to fulfil their dreams,” Mr Wirrpanda said.

"Divine Dreaming" has been made possible by the wonderful team at Philanthropic Fashion who generously offered to organise the event. We would also like to thank the local Perth businesses, artists and volunteers who have donated their time and products.
