As the no.6 jumper, I may have taken a little while to make a name for myself, but when I did, geez Louise, it was worth the wait.

Unlike many of the earlier jumpers, I missed out on the grand finals in 1991 and 1992, but you better believe I was right there in the thick of it in 1994, 2005 and 2006.

Incredibly, despite the 12-year gap between my first and last grand final, I was playing them with the same player. That’s right, the indefatigable Drew Banfield.

Banners and I shared a profitable relationship from 1994 to 2006, playing a massive 258 games together, winning 151, drawing three and losing 104. That’s not a bad record if you ask me.

I started my career with Geoff Miles and together we played in the club’s first ever game. That was a special moment for me and the 19 other jumpers out there on the field that day and I’ll never forget the feeling of running out onto Subiaco Oval for the very first time.

When Geoff was traded to Geelong in 1992, I spent exactly nine games with Paul Peos and then I had a gap year before I started up with Banners.

After my glory days with Drew Banfield, I was honoured to team up with Mark Nicoski for 68 games.

We had some leaner years in the beginning, but it all came together in 2011 when we rose from the bottom of the premiership ladder to play in a preliminary final. Nico and I won 18 games that season and it was great fun to be up in front of goal again, especially when we sunk six straight against Richmond in round 20. Burn!

Sadly, we never played another game together after the 2011 season, with Nico succumbing to a serious hamstring injury.

He retired at the end of 2013 and I’ve been given to young Elliot Yeo who arrived at the club from Brisbane.

Yeoy and I have already enjoyed some great times, he likes to fly for his marks that's for sure! I know he's got plenty of growth left in him and hopefully we can share in some success together in the near future.
