It’s fair to say that West Coast experienced one of the most tumultuous off-season periods in recent memory, with first senior coach John Worsfold announcing his retirement, and then midfield maestro Daniel Kerr following suit.

As it was not possible to honour these individuals with a final match, they will be appearing at our round one encounter with the Western Bulldogs at Patersons Stadium this Sunday afternoon to perform a lap of honour.

Daniel looks forward to officially farewelling fans at 4.20pm, right after Auzzie performs her first flight of the season.

Don’t miss the chance to thank Daniel for his remarkable contribution to our club and hear what he has planned for life after football.

John’s lap of honour will take place at half-time, so be sure to stay glued to your seats to witness all the emotion of this historic farewell.

For 24 of the club’s 27 years, John Worsfold has been ubiquitous, the most identifiable figure within our proud football club, and he holds a special place in the heart of every West Coast fan for his pivotal roles in each of our three premierships.

We look forward to filling Patersons Stadium with Eagles supporters on Sunday afternoon to give our boys the send-off they deserve.
