Up to four key West Coast Eagles players could return for Saturday’s clutch game against Port Adelaide at Patersons Stadium.

Midfielder Matt Rosa is almost certain to play after being a late withdrawal against Geelong at Simonds Stadium because of a bout of gastroenteritis.

He remained in his hotel room on Saturday night as his teammates were overwhelmed by the Cats.

While he should recover, the club’s medical staff will also closely monitor the fitness of skipper Darren Glass (hip) and midfielder Chris Masten (hamstring).

Luke Shuey will also be available after serving a one-match suspension.

Glass and Masten have both been listed as a “test”.

Both players completed the game against St Kilda a fortnight ago with varying degrees of discomfort.
