Fans! We were so close!

The Derby is always a fantastic game and I think we were a little unlucky – a few too many misses in the second quarter meant we had all the pressure in the world for the final ten minutes.

But you know what they say, you win some, you lose some.

This week we signed two of my favourites, Matty Rosa and Big Jeremy ‘Gov’ McGovern. Both are great contributors to the club and are important for the future success of the Eagles.

Now, onto the footy!

This week we take on those Sydneysiders. Buddy and Kurt Tippet are certainly in fine form and will be a dangerous forward line, but I think our boys will give them a fair match.

Looking good for us are the likes of JK, Jeremy McGovern and Jack Darling, who have been big scoreboard contributors over the last few weeks.

No doubt it’s going to be a great match, with plenty of activities for fans before and during the game, so get on down and enjoy some Eagles footy!
