My oh my! Can you sense the excitement rock-bloggers?

We could be in the finals! Now, I know that a few things have to go our way, but I just can’t hold my excitement in!

So, our game against the Demons. First of all, it was good to get the win, the midfield were firing, the forwards were kicking straight and the strongest defence in the West was as reliable as it has been all year.

The impact of Mark LeCras was fantastic, the crafty striker collecting four goals on the night and making a big contribution in delivery to JK and Jack Darling.

Another important player on the night was Chris ‘Mr. Ink’ Masten, who had 32 touches on the night, with 90% efficiency.

But, the star of the night really was Dean Cox. Every fan at the game was loving the #KingCox crowns, wearing them proudly to farewell to the 290 game legend.

Whenever Coxy got a touch the crowd would roar, thrilled to be a part of the big man’s Subi farewell. I have to admit, when Ezy and JK chaired him off, tears did swell in my eyes. What a moment.

I digress! We’re off to Queensland this weekend for the final match of the season! Hopefully we come away with the four points and the other results go our way.

And then, we’ll make the eight!

Here’s hoping.

Love Rick.
