AUSTRALIA will wear a predominantly blue guernsey when it takes on Ireland in the 2014 Virgin Australia International Rules Series test in Perth next month.

Geelong skipper Joel Selwood and teammate Harry Taylor (pictured) modelled the jumper in Melbourne on Friday morning.

Fans were asked to pick their preferred jumper from two released last week - the blue model and one that incorporated green and gold.

The new format for the one-off International Rules match against the Irish will see Australia represented only by players who have been picked in All Australian teams.

Selwood and Taylor, Hawthorn captain Luke Hodge and Adelaide star Patrick Dangerfield have committed to playing.

Hawthorn’s Alastair Clarkson will coach the Australians, assisted by Fremantle’s Ross Lyon, Geelong’s Chris Scott and the Sydney Swans’ 2005 premiership defender Tadhg Kennelly.

The match will be played at Patersons Stadium on Saturday, November 22.
