Hey kids!

I hope you all had a great Easter. I definitely did, I would say it’s up there in my top five favourite days of the year. Which, in case you’re wondering, are also the DERBY (times two), my birthday and Christmas. What’s not to love about a holiday filled with chocolate? The Easter Bunny was definitely good to me, old Rick-o here needs to hit the track again pretty quick to get back into my match shape!

It was a shame we couldn’t get the biccies over the Dogs on Saturday night, though it was a fantastic game. My mate Gov had a ripper, as did Jamie Cripps. I was devastated to see Mitch Brown go down early on with a knee injury, but it was great to see the other blokes like Gov and Bunga stand up in defence. I’m sure it’ll open up some opportunities for more young guns to show their stuff this season!

And of course that brings us to tomorrow. First home game of 2015, Friday night under the lights at Domain Stadium. I really hope to see all of our fans out in force for Bunga’s first home game as captain!

I’ve been practicing all my new moves over summer, so look out for some full-on dance action from me at three-quarter time. I’ve also recruited a brand new Cheer Crew who will join me to pump you guys up even further as we take on the Blues (let’s hope we give THEM the blues, haha).

We’ve played Carlton 22 times at Domain, and we’ve got their number with 13 wins from those games … let’s hope it’ll be 14 by 9pm tomorrow night!

If you’re coming to the game, make sure you head to Fan Zone at gate 10 where I’ll be having some fun with footy activities, face painting, free tattoos and a cool 96fm DJ.

See you guys there, I can’t wait!

Love Rick
