Senior Physiotherapist Paul Tucker discusses the injury list heading into round three against Fremantle.

Simon Tunbridge

“Unfortunately Simon hurt his ankle during the game and we’ve had some scans done on that. It shows he’s got a high ankle sprain, it means he’s going to be out for a reasonable amount of time. We have to determine that on Thursday when he sees a specialist.”

Sam Butler

“He missed last week with a slight groin strain. We’d expect him to train this week and put his hand up to be available.”

Scott Selwood

“Scooter has got some ongoing ankle pain and at the moment we just have to wait and see when the symptoms settle. Once we’ve got that we’ll be able to plan for his return.”

Mitch Brown

“Browny is going to go in for a traditional ACL reconstruction at the end of this week. He’ll pretty much follow the same path as Eric Mackenzie and will obviously have the rehabilitation program the same as Eric but will just be a few weeks behind him."

Damien Cavka

“He came out of the boot this week as his symptoms have resolved. Now we’ve just got to go through the process of building him up back into running again.”

Jack Darling

“Jack’s certainly running, he’s built up his running program and he’s doing that quite comfortably at the moment. We now need to work with the strength and conditioning guys and work out how much ‘pre-season’ he needs to do before he’s available to play.”

Murray Newman

“Murray unfortunately suffered a tendon injury on his finger on the weekend and that means that he’s going to be in a splint for around about six weeks, and his return to play will be following his rehab from that.”
