Well hello rock bloggers and welcome to round four!

Before we get to the Lions, we’ve got to talk Derby. I know. It was disappointing for everyone. That first quarter just wasn’t good enough. The coaches and the players have said so. They’ve both taken responsibility for it and in my opinion, after the quarter time break, things really did improve. It just a shame that the result of the game was decided.

It was a hard game to watch for fans, members and staff. Since the game ended, the boys have gone through the usual processes, reviewing the game to see where things went wrong so we can change them for next week. I’ve seen the boys working really hard on the training track this week, so I’m confident they will bounce back and get a win against the Lions in Brisbane.

So, Brisbane! I do love to fly across the country and Brisbane is a pretty nice place to end up. The town is great and the Gabba is a fantastic venue for footy, I can’t wait to get over there!

The boys will be looking for a good start, to get a few goals on the board and build a lead. The midfield has a big job to do and it starts with our rucks. Nic Nat will be looking to get the boys going and to get the ball out to Priddis, Gaff & Shuey. Once they’ve run it out of the middle, the boys are looking for Lecca and JK, then GOALS!

Can’t write any more, I’m too excited!

See you back at Domain Stadium next week when we’ve brought the four points home from Brisbane!

Love Rick
