Hey rock-bloggers!

I hope you’ve had a great week. It’s all happening here at Eagles HQ, with the team nailing a fantastic win over the Catters last week (“poor puddy tats”, as my fellow fowl Tweety Bird would say).

Speaking of fellow birds, we can officially say that Nic Nat is a FLYING fiend after his amazing leap over Cal Sinclair to take (what surely must be) the Weetbix Mark of the Year, right! You’ve all cast your votes, haven’t you?! Let’s lock that in for Nic!

My mate JK is also continuing to dominate up forward – still in front of the Coleman, by 6 goals, thank you very much! Let’s hope he can continue his great form this weekend as we look to make one of the toughest road trips in footy, all the way down to Tassie.

That’s right, we take on the Roos at Blundstone Arena this Sunday. I’ll tell you what fans, I don’t know how I’m going to cope with those sub-zero temperates down there! I’m a WA born-and-bred Eagle, and I like my moderate, sunny climates.

Luckily, I have a swish new beanie to keep myself warm. Me and the entire club got together on Tuesday wearing our Cure for MND Foundation beanies to support Neale Daniher and #freezeMND.

I expect to see heaps of our Tassie-based fans out to support us, it’ll be a tough gig against the Roos, although we did beat them last time we played in Hobart. I’m pretty excited that my mate Yeoy is back in the squad, and he’ll hopefully rip it up through the middle of the ground.

Well, I’d better head off to grab that flight, it’s a LONG one!

GO EAGLES!
