Development coach Jaymie Graham discusses the Eagles' best performers for East Perth at the weekend

“It was a good performance by the boys. We started really well in the first quarter and jumped them, got off to a 20-point lead quite early. We held on for the rest of the day so pleased with the boys in their last month, it been a big challenge and really hanging out for a bit of a break. So to finish off with a win was good.”

Mark Hutchings

“Hutchy has been building. He was definitely solid; he had 30-odd possessions and eight clearances and led the way. He really did start the game strongly so it was a good performance.”

Kane Lucas

“Sugar has been good the last month. He’s been really strong in the contest; he’s been playing on the wing and getting a lot of the ball on the outside as well. It’s been a good month of footy for Kane, he’s progressing well.”

Murray Newman

“Muz finished the game with three goals. Since he’s been back he’s been lively and dangerous forward, he’s working on a few areas of his game in which we’re seeing improvement and he’s getting the results on the scoreboard.”

Damien Cavka

“It was exciting to have Cav into the team. We know what he brings with his work rate and his run. He’s been the ultimate professional all this season; it was great to see him get an opportunity. He worked hard and he came into the game in the second half which was good.”

Corey Adamson

“He held his own in the midfield, East Fremantle have a very solid midfield so it was a great challenge for him. He started the game well and he kicked a nice goal on debut so a strong performance from Corey. It’s great to see him get an opportunity with all the hard work he’s put in.”
