Rock-blogger buds!

How has the last two weeks been for you? I’m still walking with a skip in my step after the win over the Hawks and I just can’t wait for Saturday night. The Kangaroos are coming to town, and they want to stop us from reaching the Grand Final.

It’s been a great week of training for the boys and it was so cool to see Pridda back out there with the boys, running around. I pulled him aside for a chat yesterday and asked him how he was feeling and do you know what he said? He said “feeling great Rick!” Look out North Melbourne, I say!

It’s been a sweet week for Pridda. We’ve all known how great he is, and he FINALLY won his first All Australian selection on Tuesday night. It wasn’t just Pridda though. Gaffy also made the side, and how could he not after having such a super year. And what can we say about my man JK? Coleman medal winner, goal-kicking machine, and now he’s the All Australian vice captain.

So, we’ve got the Kangaroos on Saturday night. They got the win against us down in Hobart earlier in the year, but that day was crazy. The wind was blowing so hard that I didn’t even want to fly, because I didn’t know where I’d end up! It’ll be sunny on Saturday though, and with a crowd that will be yelling for us, the game will be great! Fingers, toes (and wings) crossed that we’re all smiling by the end of the game.

Anyway, I’ve got to fly. Auzzie and I are working on his pre-game flight practice and since it’s the last flight of the year, we want to make it extra special.

Remember to cheer loud, and GO EAGLES!

Love Rick
