The West Coast Eagles welcomed more than 50 loveable rascals into the club’s inner sanctum for the annual Rick’s Rascals Coaching Clinic on Wednesday.

The junior members, aged between two and four, were all so excited to meet Rick the Rock, get their faces painted and watch balloon animals come to life during the one-hour event held at the club’s famed warm-up room.

Football was the flavour of the day and the Rascals competed in several fun relays, practiced their kicking and handballing skills and crawled through a challenging obstacle course.

Early literacy campaigners Paint the Swan REaD gave away a collection of children’s books and library bags and set up an engaging reading space for the rascals and their parents.

Red the Super Reading Roo even attended the event and hung out with the rascals and, of course, his buddy Rick.

The West Coast Eagles have memberships to suit every age group.
