How was your weekend? Hopefully you’re getting ready to head back to school and tell all of your friends about the awesome times you had watching the Eagles play!
Yesterday was a bit tight, wasn’t it? I don’t have fingernails, but I think if I did I would have been biting them towards the end of the match, that’s for sure! It got a bit close there for a few minutes, but I’m super glad the boys came through with the win.
Did you know that it’s Dig Deep round on Saturday when we play Melbourne? It’s a really important round for us as a club, as we try and raise bags full of money to help super-smart scientists try and find a cure for cancer. If you’re looking for ways to help out, then you can pick up some of our Dig Deep bracelets at any Caltex Starmart store when Mum or Dad fills the car up next!
I’m hoping that I get to see some of my little buddies at the game on Saturday! I’ll be around the ground before the game, so be sure to come up and say hello and give me a massive high five. Cross your fingers that it doesn’t decide to rain like it did this past weekend. Boy, was that wet!
