West Coast Eagles fans will be treated to one of the best viewing experiences in Australia following Perth Stadium’s introduction of a nation-first quality viewing rating standard for each seat.

The good news doesn’t stop there; fans will enjoy more leg room, bigger seats and easier access at the new sporting venue.

A majority of Perth Stadium’s seats will be 50cm wide - the equivalent of two bench seats at Domain Stadium - and the leg room between each row will be 165mm greater than the Subiaco stadium’s current arrangement.

Each seat will also be equipped with a cup holder at the rear.

In addition to more comfortable seating, fans will be positioned as close to the on-field action as possible.

The stadium’s entry level offers unobstructed views of the field and a majority of the venue's seats are located between the 50m arcs to ensure an unrivalled closeness to the game.

Wet weather conditions have also been considered; an impressive 85% of seats are sheltered from the elements, which is the most of any open air stadium in Australia.

Individuals requiring universal access will enjoy considered facilities at Perth Stadium, including wheelchair positions on all levels and flexible seats for carers and guests.

It will also boast dedicated taxi and private vehicle drop off areas, 14 lifts and nine times more permanent ACROD bays than required under the relevant codes.

At present the stadium’s build is 66% complete. Developers expect seat installation to be complete by March 2017.

While the West Coast Eagles are yet to reach a final agreement to play at Perth Stadium, the club intends – and looks forward – to playing football at the world-class venue.

The club continues to negotiate with VenuesLive in good faith.

While discussions should result in an agreement, there are still some important and critical issues to be resolved.

The club will continue negotiating the remaining issues with the interest of members and fans at the forefront of its mind.
