The West Coast Eagles played host to some of the club’s littlest members during its annual Rick’s Rascals event last Wednesday.

The warm-up room inside the club’s training facilities became a playroom for two to four-year-old members for an hour, with a number of fun activities put on for them to enjoy.

As expected, there were plenty of footballs flying around and the Rascals were encouraged to throw and kick the balls. Some skilled Rascals handballed the footies into targets and rolled them through tunnels.

For those less football inclined, there was a craft table where members could colour in pictures of Rick the Rock for Mum or Dad, as well as some friendly fairies around who joined the group to paint everyone’s faces.

Naturally, it would not be a Rick’s Rascals event without a visit from the big bird himself, Rick the Rock. He popped down in between training sessions to say hello and give out some high-fives.

The Rascals also enjoyed a visit from two Paint the Swan REaD friends, including Joey the Roo.
