The star forward, who was leading the race for a third consecutive leading goalkicker gong before straining a calf in round 10, has been on the verge of a return for the last fortnight before finally getting the medical clearance to play.

Also coming into a 25-man squad is experienced defender Will Schofield, midfielders Chris Masten and Jack Redden and young defenders Jackson Nelson and Tom Cole.

Schofield has been named in the starting 18, while Masten, Redden, Nelson and Cole have been listed on an extended interchange bench.

Also on the expanded list are ruck-forwards Nathan Vardy and Drew Petrie and midfielder Dom Sheed.

Key defender Eric Mackenzie (hamstring) and young forward Malcolm Karpany (quad) could not be considered because of injury, while Sharrod Wellingham was omitted from the team.

The match committee will make a call on the final composition of the team tomorrow afternoon, when the squad will be cut down to the starting 22 with three emergencies.
