The West Coast Eagles have joined forces with the West Coast Fever

Two of Western Australia’s most identifiable sporting brands – West Coast Fever and West Coast Eagles – have formed a powerful alliance.

Under a new partnership announced today, the Eagles will become a major partner of the Fever for the 2018 Suncorp Super Netball season.

Collectively representing one of the strongest and most passionate sporting fan bases in Australia, the Eagles and Fever set a benchmark for elite, professional sport and community development in Western Australia.

The partnership will see the clubs explore collaboration opportunities across their high performance and community departments, as well as solidify commercial partnerships and inspire youth across the State.

The Eagles’ logo will feature prominently on Fever’s uniforms, while the three-time AFL premiers will utilise the State Netball Centre for selected training sessions and supporter events.

“Our club is delighted to once again align with West Coast Fever, an outstanding organisation that is the centrepiece of women’s sport in this State,” West Coast Eagles chief executive officer Trevor Nisbett said.

“There are great synergies between the two elite sporting franchises and it is great to once again align the two clubs. There is a strong history between the Fever and Eagles, but this partnership elevates the alignment to another level.

“It is an exciting opportunity for both clubs and we believe we can assist each other to grow, both in our teams’ performances, but also with our respective community programs.”

West Coast Fever head coach Stacey Marinkovich welcomed the partnership.

“This is the formalisation of a strong, historic relationship between two of the State’s leading sporting franchises,” Marinkovich said.

“Both clubs are leaders, are at the forefront of high performance delivery in their respective codes and also possess strong, established brands within the community.”

“The Eagles brand is synonymous with excellence and success, both here in the West, as well as on the national stage, and is one we are incredibly proud to partner with.”

While the second season of Suncorp Super Netball is more than five months away, West Coast Fever will ramp up their preparations when they face the highly-fancied Magpies Netball in two pre-season games in December.
