Before Matt Priddis became the inaugural John Worsfold Medallist, there was plenty of action on the blue carpet where football and social media reporters waited eagerly to get a tip for the night's top gong as well as check out all the fashions on display.

Tash Butler, owner of fashion label Bruug and Rosendorff ambassador, was particularly impressed with the frocks, and suits, on display.

Once inside, guests were treated to a three course meal, and were privileged to witness some great tributes to John Worsfold, as well as acknowledging the exploits of the current group of players, culminating in Priddis being awarded the John Worsfold Medal as the club’s best and fairest player in 2013.

Priddis said he was overwhelmed with the award, particularly as he’d idolised John Worsfold from a young age.

The night ended with a superb performance from Aussie music icon Darryl Braithwaite.

The event was presented by the West Coast Eagles with special thanks to West Cape Howe Wines.
