West Coast member Mark Cranley has become the envy of every Eagles fan, with the 17-year member winning the 1992 Premiership Anniversary Experience.

Mark won the prize after entering the ‘Confirm your details and win’ competition, with the prize including a meeting with West Coast’s coach John Worsfold.

“It was absolutely fantastic,” Mark said. “Woosh is just a very sincere and modest guy.”

“He’s a true gentleman, which is what I expected as he always comes across as genuine in the media.”

Mark seized the opportunity to give Worsfold some coaching tips, in an experience that included a photo with the 1992 premiership cup.

“I had a chance to offer him some coaching advice as the trade period was looming,” Mark laughed.

“It was great to hold the 1992 premiership cup. I didn’t want to let it go, if I could have put it in my pocket and walked away, I would have done it!”

In addition to the meeting, the prize included two tickets to the West Coast 2012 Club Champion Awards at the Crown Perth Grand Ballroom.

“It was fantastic to attend the Club Champion Awards with my son and see the players,” Mark said.

“My son trained with some of the West Coast players on the state squad, so I had to chance to meet a few of them up close.”

As a lasting reminder of his experience, Mark was given a special edition 1992 commemorative guernsey signed by the 1992 premiership team.
