Talented wingman Bradd Dalziell will return to his home state and resume his career with the West Coast Eagles after an early three-way trade week deal was struck.

The upshot of the exchange brings Dalziell to Subiaco Oval, along with selection 22 in the November national draft, while tall utility player Brent Staker will wing it to Brisbane and ruckman Mark Seaby will join Sydney.

Under the complex trade, Sydney traded small forward Aamon Buchanan to Brisbane and received pick 28 in return, West Coast traded Staker to Brisbane and received Dalziell and pick 39, while Seaby moved to Sydney with pick 39 swapped for pick 22.

Dalzeill a talented midfielder who made a stunning debut against West Coast in round 16, 2008 when he picked up 32 possessions is looking forward to playing his part in the Eagles surge towards finals football in 2010.

“It is a great opportunity to play with a club that is definitely on the rise and I look forward to playing my role in bolstering the team and continuing to push for finals football,” Dalziell said today.

“It will also be great to play in front of my family and friends more often than I could in Brisbane.

“When I was growing up I was a Geelong supporter, so the Eagles weren’t one of my favourite teams but that all changes now. I am really looking forward to continuing my career there.”

Dalziell, 22, played 15 games for Brisbane and made a habit of playing well against his new club. Apart from his terrific debut he was also a star for the Lions in their round one victory against West Coast in 2009.
