Re-drafted as a rookie at the end of 2017, started the season at East Perth, playing mainly in the ruck. Came in for the suspended Nic Naitanui in round eight and performed strongly, but made way for the Fijiian upon his return. Selected as a forward in rounds 14 and 15, but ultimately lost his place in the side to Josh Kennedy from that point on. Is the nephew of former Eagles Michael Brennan and Robert Wiley.
