The brilliant goalsneak is set to return from two full seasons out of the game in 2022 and will be hoping to make up for lost time. Rioli burst onto the AFL scene in 2018 when he played 24 games and kicked 28 goals and was part of the premiership victory. In the Grand Final win over Collingwood he opened West Coast’s account with the steadying first major for the Eagles on the goalline, before being included in the all-important final centre bounce following Dom Sheed's unforgettable match-winning goal. Rioli’s ability to impact through the middle of the ground was on an upwards trajectory in 2019 when he averaged 13.2 disposals while still returning better than a goal per game (18 from 14 matches). Enjoyed an excellent pre-season heading into 2022 and appears primed to make an impact again for Adam Simpson’s side.
