Champion midfielder and former captain who won the 2005 Brownlow Medal and has been one of the finest players in club history. Has four times won the club champion award and could be a key player late in the season if he is able to deal with some personal issues which will keep him out for at least the first part of the season. In conjunction with Judd, Kerr, Fletcher, Embley and Braun, Cousins makes the West Coast midfield the most feared in the AFL.
