Eagles Junior Reporter

The Eagles Junior Reporter Program was launched in 2010 and is run in partnership with Eagles Rock My School, the club's class room based primary school education program.

Developed to assist primary schools in providing innovative ways to engage students in literacy, the Junior Reporter interviews give students the unique opportunity to become journalists for the day and grill West Coast Eagles players.

Working together as a class, students are put to the test creating a list of tough questions which a selected classmate will use in their interview to gain personal insight from the players, the process encouraging students to challenge themselves and think outside the square.

The program's emphasis on literacy, teamwork and fun is a perfect fit with the values-based Eagles Rock My School educational visits, the club’s main primary school educational initiative.
