Cheer Squad

The Cheer squad seating area for round 15 will NOT be ‘fully ticketed’ meaning that each cheer squad member won’t be required to have a paper ticket to access the cheer squad seats. Members are advised to gain entry via gate 1 at the MCG by scanning their membership card at the turnstiles. Members will then be able to show their membership card to sit in the front few rows of M33.

There is no open training session scheduled to occur in Melbourne before round 15.

Post match event

The club welcomes all Eagles members to attend the Round 15 post match event in Melbourne. This will be held in The Atrium, located on Level 2 of the Ponsford Stand via Gate 1. The event is free and there is no need to book.

Please note that unlike other post match events however, the MCC (due to Liquor Licensing regulations), now require this event to be attended by members and their guests, rather than open to the general Public (like they previously have been).

Therefore, we must now encourage members wanting to attend this event, to bring their 2019 membership card, or at least one person in the group to bring it. Anyone wanting to gain entry into the function, must have a 2019 membership card, or enter as a guest of a member i.e. at the same time, with someone holding a membership card. This is different to previous post match events.

Like the last few of these events, guests to be admitted into the function will be limited due to the limited capacity of the function space, and the club apologises to anyone who may miss out. The club is bound by the (limited) function space made available to us (as the Away team).
