Good Friday footy comes to Optus Stadium from 6.10pm when we clash with Port Adelaide.

 Please note that due to the weather forecast for Friday evening, BHP Fan Zone and the Fan March across Matagarup Bridge will not proceed.

Key timings

3.55pm – Gates open.

5.52pm – Auzzie the Eagle flies.

6.09pm – The Huddle

6.10pm – Bouncedown

7.15pm – Half Time Optus Stadium light show

8.40pm – Final Siren

Buying tickets to Friday’s match

Remember Ticketmaster is the ONLY authorised ticketing agent for this event. To ensure you don’t end up with invalid tickets, DO NOT buy them through any unauthorised re-sellers such as Viagogo, Tickets, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia, Ticket Merchant, Ticket Blaster, Ticket Bis, Queenoftickets, etc. Optus Stadium has no obligation to honour tickets bought from any agent other than Ticketmaster. We don’t want anyone to miss out on what is sure to be an awesome night, so spread the word!

Conditions of entry

  • All patrons will be subject to a Security check upon arrival.
  • Sunscreen, hats, protective clothing and plenty of bottled water are recommended.

Taxi and Ride Share

The primary taxi rank is located off Victoria Park Drive. The taxi rank is adjacent to the Eastern Train Station accessible via the underpass.

In addition, an eight-stand pick up and drop off facility is located on Nelson Avenue in East Perth for taxi and other on-demand transport services to use.

Passengers of these services will be able to access the stadium via a short walk across the Matagarup Bridge. Pick up and drop off for private vehicles is not permitted. Traffic management will be in place.

Ride share drop off and pick up is not permitted along Victoria Park Drive or within the Stadium Park.

Food and Beverage

Experience the best of what the Stadium has to offer! Food and beverage facilities will be available for patrons to purchase throughout the Stadium. On the inside of the Stadium, if you are looking for a bite to eat, visit the orange and red outlets.

If you’re looking for something new and different to eat – try the West Coast Wings! These spicy chicken wings, served with Crudites and your choice of ranch or blue cheese sauce will be available from all Well Fed Outlets (aisles 105, 116, 507, 519, 532 and 544)

Thirsty and looking for something to drink, visit the yellow and orange outlets.  Free Water Stations will also be in place throughout the Stadium and Stadium Park.
