The Indoor Training Field at Mineral Resources Park was a hive of activity last Tuesday, as some of the Club’s youngest members took part in the Rick’s Rascals Footy Clinic.

The members aged two-to-four years - as well as their parents or guardians - were invited into the very same training facility used by their favourite players to enjoy a range of fun footy activities.

Footballs were flying as the Rascals practiced their kicking, handballing and tackling in the West Coast Eagles’ inner sanctum, with AFLW players Parris Laurie and Amber Ward alongside staff from the Club’s Community and Game Development Department.

The West Coast Eagles fairies were on hand to apply temporary tattoos and by the end of the event, nearly all the children were proudly sporting the Eagles logo on their arm or hand.

The bouncy castle was undoubtedly a hit, as was everyone’s favourite Eagle Rick the Rock, who made a special appearance to help the children with their footy skills.

The West Coast Eagles would like to thank the Rick’s Rascals members and their parents/guardians who attended the footy clinic.
