The West Coast Eagles have made just one change heading into Saturday’s RAC Derby at Optus Stadium.

Premiership defender Liam Duggan has recovered from a knock to the knee, sustained against Greater Western Sydney a fortnight ago, and has been immediately elevated back into the senior team.

He comes into the side at the expense of Josh Rotham, who made a solid debut in the victory against Collingwood at the MCG last Saturday evening.

The match committee had few other issues to discuss leading into RAC Derby No.49 against Fremantle, with a relatively healthy list.

With the exceptions of Nic Naitanui, Willie Rioli and Hamish Brayshaw, the Eagles have a full complement from which to choose.

Brayshaw is a chance to play in the curtain raiser against Peel, starting at Optus Stadium at 2pm. If he gets the medical clearance after training tomorrow he will play.

Naitanui and Rioli will be longer term.

The Eagles will be looking to build on a solid start to the season against their crosstown rivals, who will be desperate for a strong performance, particularly in the absence of captain and Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe.
