Third-year Eagle Jake Waterman returns to the line-up after missing the club’s narrow Good Friday loss to Subiaco due to a minor hamstring strain.

The 20-year-old was the form forward of the state league competition before succumbing to injury, having booted back-to-back five-goal hauls against Perth and Peel in rounds one and two.

At least four more AFL-listed players could come in to face the Tigers at Claremont Oval­, but their availability will be determined when the AFL confirms its final 22 at 3pm tomorrow.

The players in the running to fill those four spots are Jarrod Brander, Oscar Allen, Daniel Venables, Nathan Vardy, Jack Petruccelle, Tom Cole, Josh Rotham and Josh Smith, who have all been named on the senior team’s extended bench for the clash against Geelong.

A host of WAFL Eagles are also in the running to tackle the Tigers, including Daniel Acres, Joel Ashman, Jak Cary, Alex Coe and Liam Robilliard, who have been named in the 25-man squad.

The WAFL Eagles will confirm its starting side 30 minutes before the first bounce at Claremont Oval.
