The Eagles, who currently sit sixth on the ladder, need to register a win over the Sharks and have some results fall the club’s way to make their maiden WAFL finals berth.

With two finals spots still up for grabs, West Coast is one of three teams still in contention, along with the Falcons and Demons.

If either the Falcons or Demons lose, the Eagles would need to defeat the Sharks on Sunday to book a spot in the September action.

McInnes will return after missing three weeks with a quad injury.

The WAFL captain will be a key inclusion, having averaged 13.8 disposals and booted 11 goals this season.

Backmen Luke Foley and Brodie Riach will also return from injury, while key defender Josh Rotham is also expected to return.

Bailey Williams and Keegan Brooksby will once again share the ruck duties, forming an imposing combination with on-ballers Brady Grey, Matthew Allen and Hamish Brayshaw.

East Fremantle currently sits in eighth position and will no doubt be looking to finish their season on a high.

Cameron Eardley has starred for the Sharks this season, averaging 25.1 disposals per game, while Luke Strnadica has kicked 20 goals up forward this season.

West Coast and East Fremantle met back in round 11, when a Nic Naitanui-inspired Eagles ran out 72-point winners.
