West Coast's WAFL team will make history by playing its first ever home fixture at Mineral Resources Park on Sunday.

Sunday’s game will provide an opportunity for fans to check out the club’s new headquarters before watching the WAFL Eagles take on the Falcons in what is shaping as arguably their biggest game this season.

Jack Petruccelle is poised to make his return from a hamstring injury against West Perth and Jarrod Brander is also back in the side after missing the past fortnight with a calf ailment.

The Eagles slipped to ninth on the ladder following a tough start to their inaugural season in which they recorded just two wins from their first nine games.

But recent wins over the Sharks, Bulldogs, and Thunder breathed life into their campaign and they now sit just a game and percentage out of fifth-spot.

The Falcons are currently fifth on the ladder following an impressive 31-point win over the Demons in round 13.

On-ballers Shane Nelson (28.5 disposals per game) and Aaron Black (27.4) have been in superb form this season and will no doubt be a key focus for the Eagles midfield.

West Perth will also field a potent forward line led by last year’s Bernie Naylor Medallist Andrew Strijk, who has kicked 25 goals in 11 games this season.

Midfielder Josh Smith has been influential in West Coast’s recent winning streak, averaging 27.7 disposals in the last three games, while forward Nic Reid has also played a key role in the Eagles’ recent surge up the ladder with 10 goals in the last three weeks.

Bouncedown is at 2.15pm at Mineral Resources Park.

Thanks to the club’s premier partner Mineral Resources, entry is FREE for this historic fixture at the new home of the West Coast Eagles.

Fans will also be invited to check out the club’s new headquarters, including the public café, team store, indoor training hall and inner sanctum museum.

Please consider using public transport on Sunday, as parking is limited at the facilty and surrounding areas.

If you can’t make it to the game, it will be broadcast LIVE on the club’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
