The West Coast Eagles are heading to the South West!
Get up close and personal with the club’s biggest stars and emerging talents during the club’s AFL Community Camp, which will run from December 9-13.
West Coast Eagles AFL and AFLW players will be visiting schools, hospitals, aged care facilities and community groups in Bunbury, Dunsborough and surrounding areas in addition to hosting four feature events.
The first major event will be an open training session at Dunsborough Playing Fields from 3pm to 4pm on Monday, December 9.
That will be followed by a free, hour-long West Coast Eagles Superclinic, which will run from 4pm to 5pm.
The club welcomes children of aged 5-12 to come down and brush up on their fundamental skills under the watchful eye of West Coast’s top male and female athletes.
Members and fans will also be invited to attend a second open training session, which will take place at 9am on Tuesday, December 10 at Dunsborough Playing Fields.
The final feature event – a West Coast Eagles Panel Night – will occur later on Tuesday at the Naturaliste Community Centre.
Stay tuned to the club’s website and social media channels for updates regarding the Panel Night.
The club’s 2020 AFL Community Camp provides an opportunity for the club to contribute to the growth and sustainability of grassroots football in regional Western Australia; engage with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, multicultural and people with special needs; and support educational outcomes through meaningful school engagement activities.
