With the support of Hawaiian, The West Coast Eagles can continue to increase its positive influence on the WA community by delivering key messages of respect, healthy lifestyle choices and striving to be your best to schools and community groups across WA.

Since its inception in 2004 the program has engaged over one million students.

Eagles Rock My School is in full fight over the past term, with an abundance of schools visited by West Coast AFL players and staff.

The children could hardly contain their excitement when meeting everyone’s favourite mascot, Rick the Rock, as well as receiving prize packs, memorabilia and giveaways.

“The Eagles Rock my School (ERMS) program is designed to support teachers to connect with their students in a different way by using football to reinforce life skill concepts,” General Manager of Community, Richard O’Connell said.

“Frequently we connect with students who were in the program ten years ago and they still recall the excitement they felt when they met Rick the Rock for the very first time in their classroom while participating in an ERMS class.

“Hawaiian’s generous support means these programs are free to all schools and all students, no matter their economic status – this is inclusion in action."

The Eagles Rock My School program is a two-part program conducted from March to September for primary students from kindergarten through to grade six, and delivered FREE to schools!
