Another strong year for the versatile, attacking defender. After playing every game for nearly four years, Sheppard tore his hamstring in the Eagles' qualifying final win over Collingwood and missed the club's premiership run. Was as dependable as ever throughout the season, lcoking down on both talls and smalls while also providing plenty of dash off half back. Was awarded Life Membership at the club after notching his 150th game in round 20.
