The board of the West Coast Eagles gives very careful consideration to the choice of the no.1 ticket-holder of our club. The criteria used for selection is as follows:
1. Longevity of service to the club
2. Passion for the club
3. Contribution to the community of Western Australia
4. The level at which they are recognised in their chosen profession by the community.
Since 1987, the West Coast Eagles has had the following no. 1 ticket-holders:

1995 & 1996: Ernie Dingo
1997 & 1998: Geoffrey Christian
1999 & 2000: Ray Turner
2001 & 2002: Tony Evans
2003 & 2004: Dennis Lillee
2005 & 2006: Jeff Newman
2007 & 2008: Nigel Satterley
2009 & 2010: Ross Glendinning
2011 & 2012: Michael Brennan
2013 & 2014: Rod Moore
2015 & 2016: Daniel Ricciardo
