In 2023 the West Coast Eagles entered a team into the WA Wheelchair Football League (WAWFL). The Club became the fifth team to join the competition, with Subiaco, Perth, East Perth, Swan Districts, East Fremantle and Peel Thunder also part of the 2025 competition.
After a successful maiden season the Club reached the grand final before suffering a heartbreaking narrow defeat to Perth. Returning to the court once again in 2024, the Club finished as minor premiers and matched up once again in the grand final against Perth, with the result going in the Eagles favour to secure the first ever WAWFL premiership for the Club.
The expansion into the wheelchair football competition is a crucial step in strengthening the Club’s existing commitment to Diversity and Inclusion as foundation partners of the WA All Abilities Football Association.
The 2025 WAWFL fixtures and ladder will be updated here once available.
