Former Greater Western Sydney ruckman Matt Flynn joined the Eagles as an unrestricted free agent in the 2023 sign and trade period. The 26-year-old signed on for three years, and standing at 202cm, the big man will certainly bolster West Coast’s ruck division. Flynn played 33 games for the Giants after being taken with pick 41 in the 2015 draft, including nine games last season. He was a strong performer against West Coast in the Eagles’ round two win over GWS last season, picking up 17 disposals and 39 hitouts.
