Introducing All the Way West.

It’s not a place. You can’t drive there. It lives in us.

From the players to the fans, All The Way West is commitment; it’s passion that boils like the WA sun. And you’ll find it in so many of the stories of the sons and daughters of this great club of ours.

The stories of the faithful who pack out Optus Stadium week-on-week, even when things are not going our way. The fans who sped across the Nullarbor in 2018, even without tickets. The ones who brave long bus trips from down south, who have every piece of merch, every collectible, who can tell you the names of every player going back for the past 40 years…

So here’s to another 40 years of memories and stories, of sticking together and giving it our all. Through the moments that test us. Through seasons that unite us – as a club, as a family, as players and coaches, as a great collection of mad, loveable West Coast fans. We want to say thank you for going All the Way West.

All in? That’s just the beginning.

Fan Stories

All The Way West is underpinned by the fans who embody the spirit of being 'all in'.

From the real fans who appear in our TV commercial, to the hundreds who wrote to us.

These are a few of their stories, told not in our words, but in theirs.

Bev changed her name to Westcoast – she’s All the Way West

In 2005 my youngest child graduated from uni and I had always said that when she did we would go to the grand final. I'd bought tickets very early in the season not knowing who would be in it. When it turned out to be West Coast, I changed my name by deed poll to Westcoast! Despite the last three or four seasons, I still proudly let people know I am Bev Westcoast.

Michael’s wedding was styled blue and gold – that’s Michael going All The Way West

I reckon I am the biggest Eagles fan outside of Australia. I moved from Perth to the UK in 2010. Since then, I have never missed a game, regularly setting an alarm for 4am or earlier to support the boys on the TV. My UK wedding in 2015 was decorated with a blue and gold theme, and the highlight of the day (don't tell my wife!) was receiving a wedding card from Matt Priddis! This year, I'll be in Perth for the Swans game - the first time I've been able to see the boys play live in 16 years. I can't bloody wait!

Harley asks his barber for the ‘Harley Reid’ – he’s All the Way West

I grew my hair to match Harley Reid’s hair. My bedroom is painted blue and gold. I have multiple Harley shirts and multiple Harley Reid frames on my walls. And my name is Harley!

Linda listened to the ’94 Grand Final during a wedding – she’s All The Way West

My commitment to the West Coast Eagles was sealed long before anyone called me sensible. Take 1994: my cousin scheduled her wedding on Grand Final Day - an act still convinced shouldn't be allowed in Australia. I was a bridesmaid, trapped in taffeta, secretly listening to my pocket radio during the ceremony and the photos. While everyone else smiled for the camera, I was smiling because Matera was on fire. The Eagles won, the reception was lively, and I celebrated both occasions - though only one made history. Then there was the 1991 qualifying final at Subiaco. First final outside Victoria, wet weather, gates opening at 9am - we were there early, determined to claim the best patch of soggy grass. I drove my Corolla through the rain with the headlights blazing...and forgot to turn them off. After the loss, we trudged back to the car only to find it dead as a doornail. The RAC rescued us, but honestly, the fact I'd sat on wet grass all day for a final said everything about my dedication. Love my Eagles!

From rooftop footy to father‑daughter memberships – Rory is All The Way West

As an 8 year old I used to wait to get into Subi Oval for free after 3-quarter time, then I'd climb on top of the food van and watch the last quarter. At 15 I asked my family to chip and buy me my first membership. I'm 43 years old and I've been a member for roughly 25 of those years. My wife and I flew to Melbourne and watched the 2018 premiership with my daughters life just beginning in her womb. The day she was born, I signed her up for a West Coast AFLW membership so she won't have to sneak in or beg. She'll just be able to say she's been a member for her entire life.

The Eagles are always at the top of Noah’s heart – that’s why he’s All The Way West

I am 9 years old and last year I was invited to make a speech at school on any topic I chose. I wrote my speech on ''Why the Eagles are the bottom of the ladder, but the top of my heart'' and talked about all my favourite Eagles memories - especially watching Harley’s goal against Melbourne, live! I convinced everyone that the Eagles are on their way up.
