Mineral Resources Park is the headquarters of the West Coast Eagles Football Club, located just five kilometres from Perth’s central business district and two kilometres from Optus Stadium.
Mineral Resources (MinRes) is a leading diversified resources company with operations in lithium, iron ore, energy and mining services across Western Australia. MinRes is committed to having a positive and sustainable impact in the communities where it operates through its social investment program. Alongside its community initiatives, MinRes is a proud and long-standing partner of the West Coast Eagles, ensuring the Eagles’ AFL, AFLW, WAFL and Academy players have access to the high-performance environment they need to prepare, perform and recover at their best.
Mineral Resources Park in partnership with the Town of Victoria Park began construction on the main building in 2017 and was opened in June 2019. The precinct contains the administration and training facilities of the club's men's and women's football programs, the merchandise store, Next Cup cafe and two AFL sized ovals as well as the Waalitj Foundation.
Community Oval Access
When available, the Community Oval is able to be used by the community outside of the times of use by the resident football clubs, the West Coast Eagles and Perth Demons and the turf curator.
It is also important for safety reasons that whilst the oval is being maintained by the turf curator, or is being utilised by the West Coast Eagles or Perth Demons football clubs, members of the public don’t enter the playing arena.
We do ask all users of the oval to assist in maintaining the high standard of the facility by adhering to the following;
- No glass
- No dogs
- No weights
- No bicycles
- Do not conduct any activity which may adversely affect the surface and/or pose a safety risk.
Should you have any queries regarding the use of the Community Oval, please contact the Facilities Manager at the West Coast Eagles.
