Mineral Resources Park is the headquarters of the West Coast Eagles football club.
Mineral Resources is a West Australian company committed to supporting the WA community.
The site is based just five kilometres from Perth's central business district and two kilometres from Optus Stadium.
Mineral Resources Park in partnership with the Town of Victoria Park began construction on the main building in 2017 and was opened in June 2019.
The precinct contains the administration and training facilities of the club's men's and women's football programs, the merchandise store, cafe and two AFL sized ovals as well as the Wirrpanda Foundation.
On 29 March, National Cabinet agreed to limit non-essential gatherings to no more than two people. This applies to indoor, outdoor and private gatherings including your own home. As a result, Oval 2 is unavailable for group activities until further notice.
Oval 2 is available for the community to use providing everyone adheres to Government isolation orders and maintain a minimum distance of 1.5m.
It is also important for safety reasons that whilst the oval is; being maintained by the turf curator, or is being utilised by the Perth Football Club and or the West Coast Eagles that members of the public don’t enter the playing arena.
We do ask that all users of the oval assist in maintaining the high standard of the facility by adhering to the following;
- No glass
- No dogs
- No weights
- Any activity which may adversely affect the surface and or pose a safety risk.
Oval Availability as at April 6, 2020
