In positive news, West Coast Eagles midfielder Tim Kelly has bounced back from a toe complaint and will be available to take on Melbourne on Saturday night.
“Tim had his toe stood on during last Tuesday’s training, which ruled him out of last weekend’s game with the Hawks,” High Performance Manager Mat Inness told westcoasteagles.com.au.
“He is back to full training this week and will be available for selection this weekend.”
Young midfielder Campbell Chesser is progressing well with his rehab program, following ankle surgery in February.
“Chess took a positive step forward by joining in training today,” Inness said.
“However, he is still a few weeks away from returning to play as we build his continuity and integrate him into higher intensity drills.”
Elliot Yeo continues to work through his rehabilitation and will be seeing a specialist later in the week.
