Five Eagles have been added to the extended squad ahead of West Coast’s clash with Richmond at the MCG on Sunday.

Small forward Noah Long, mid-forward Tom Gross, ruck Bailey Williams and key defenders Sandy Brock and Harry Edwards are in the mix to return.

Should they make the final 23-player team, Long, Brock and Gross would join several teammates in their first experience of playing at the ‘G.

West Coast has only made two forced changes at this stage, with champion defender Jeremy McGovern (concussion protocols) and last round’s debutant Bo Allan (suspension) going out of the team.

The 26-player extended squad will be trimmed from eight players on the interchange to five at 3pm AWST on Friday.

West Coast’s trip to the MCG is the club’s only visit this season, and the Eagles will be vying for their first win at the venue since defeating Hawthorn in round eight, 2021.

Experienced recruits Liam Baker and Jack Graham are also set to face their former side for the first time on Mother’s Day after winning two premierships with the Tigers.

Bouncedown on Sunday is at 1.10pm local (11.10am AWST) with the match broadcast live in WA on Channel 7 and 7-plus, and nationally on Fox Footy and Kayo.
